Before you start — how Briefli works and what you’re agreeing to

• •Briefli connects to WhatsApp using a connection developed by Briefli that is not officially authorized by WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp may restrict numbers when it detects abuse — such as mass messaging, spam, or unusual automated activity. Briefli is specifically designed to avoid these patterns: it never sends mass messages, keeps activity to a minimum, and reduces its digital footprint as much as possible, so the practical risk is low. Briefli is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta.
• •To protect your number, Briefli disconnects overnight (01:00–05:30 in your timezone), reads only messages from the last 24 hours, and sends your summaries exclusively to your private "Brief-li" group — never to any other chat.
• •To create your summaries, Briefli reads the messages in the groups you choose, stores them for up to 14 days, and sends their content to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. Your private 1:1 chats are never read.
• •You are responsible for the groups you choose to monitor.
